The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) World Championships, known in the BJJ community as the “Mundial”, starts in less than 3 weeks. The competitors at Paramount BJJ are training hard in preparation for the biggest event of the year, and as always we expect great results.

In the last 2 months Mike Thomas, Eric Desmarais, and Phil Mento have been on the mats non-stop, at our Downingtown, PA headquarters as well as tournaments across the US. Notable wins for the trio include a submission victory over the European Champion (Eric Desmarais), and double Gold at NY (Mike Thomas).

After the World Championships are over, the athletes will jump right back onto the mats to continue training for the NY Summer Open, a new event hosted by the prestigious IBJJF. Mike Thomas, however, will be flying to Europe where he will compete at the European No-Gi Championships and the Rome Open.

As you can see, when it comes to producing top-level BJJ competitors we are not messing around at Paramount! Click HERE for more info on how to train with us for a Whole Month FREE.
