Paramount Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt and 2x World Masters Champion Abi Pacinelli became a 2018 IBJJF Pan American Champion this past weekend. In fact, she earned 2 Gold medals- one in her weight class (lightweight) and one in the Absolute division (medalists from all weight classes combined).
After winning both of her matches at lightweight, she entered the Absolute and defeated 4 opponents to take home “Double Gold.”
Abi is an example for all students when it comes to dedication and commitment. She has suffered setbacks and injuries but has persevered to achieve something very few competitors do. She now has 2 Pan American Gold medals to add to a very impressive collection of 1st place awards.
