This weekend the IBJJF held the 2022 Pan American Championships in Orlando, Florida. Paramount BJJ had 4 competitors make the trip and we returned with 3 medals. First-time IBJJF competitor Jill Robinson stole the show by winning her first Pan Championship after submitting her opponents in the semi-final and final, both by americana armlock.
This is a sure sign of great things to come. If she chooses to pursue it, a world title can be in her future. Jill is one of the hardest working students at Paramount and it’s so great to see all of the hard work pay off. Congratulations Jill!
