TJ Cascio stepped onto the mats at the 2020 IBJJF World Masters Championship this past Saturday in Florida with the goal of earning his first world title. He’d put in the work and made the sacrifices- Maintaining a 4 days-a-week training routine at Paramount BJJ, while working long hours (often overnight shifts immediately followed by training), and taking care of his two young boys.
After 3 matches the mission had been accomplished, TJ took home the Gold medal and title of 2020 IBJJF World Masters Champion at purple belt super-heavyweight. In addition, his streak of having never been defeated or even scored upon continues.
Having less than 4 years of training under his belt, TJ has shown that he has a very promising future and that the only question is: How many more world titles will he earn?
