The biggest event of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) sport calendar ended this past weekend. Thousands of competitors traveled from all over the world to Long Beach, California to earn the title of 2013 World Champion.
At the end of the day, Ray Hawkins, of Paramount BJJ (located minutes from the heart of West Chester PA), stood atop the podium with the Gold medal.
Congratulations to Ray Hawkins, who put in many hours on the mats at Paramount with the World Class instructors and students.
The head instructor at Paramount BJJ is 2012 Pan American black belt medalist Brad Court, who’s trained Jiu-Jitsu since 1997 and is also an American National Champion.
