The Pan American Championship is the biggest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) tournament in all of the world. Also know as the “Pan Am,” or simply the “Pan,” this five-day event will be home to well over 3,000 athletes vying for the title of Pan American Champion. Next to a Gold medal at the Worlds (aka “Mundial”), the Pan is the most prestigious title an athlete can have on his/her resume.

Day 1 will consist primarily of white belts, with some blue belt divisions as well. Paramount BJJ athletes will step onto the mats on Day 2, at roughly 9am PST. Stay tuned for updates and results on all of the matches.

In the meantime, the competitors will relax and enjoy the beautiful socal weather. There are more beaches, shops, restaurants than one person can count, add that to a huge tournament with divisions for all ages and levels and featuring the very best in the world- it’s a Jiu-Jitsu students dream vacation!
