Growing up in West Chester PA, Brad Court had nowhere to train when he discovered Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu via the UFC in 1995. Brad had to wait until 1997 when he could travel to Center City (Philadelphia) to learn the amazing self-defense system and sport known as BJJ.

Ten years later, after winning an IBJJF National Championship, Pan American Bronze, and Gold at countless regional tournaments, Brad opened his own academy in Chester County.

Since 2005 Brad has been teaching students of all ages, experience and fitness levels the Art of Jiu-Jitsu at Paramount, now located in Downingtown- less than 10 minutes from West Chester, where he grew up.

The students who enjoy competing have won many tournaments (European Championship, National Champions, as well as the NY, Boston, Miami, San Francisco Opens and more).

Most of the students at Paramount BJJ, however, start training to learn self-defense and stay thanks to the quality of teaching, the positive atmosphere and the great people who train alongside of you.

If you’re interested in learning more about training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, whether you’re from West Chester, Exton, Downingtown, or anywhere else in Chester County, you owe it to yourself to check out Paramount.
