Kevin MacMullen of Paramount BJJ competed at the IBJJF NY Spring Open in his very first tournament at brown belt after being promoted in December of last year. In his semi-final match he threw his opponent before choking him out. In the final, his opponent took his back but made a “white belt mistake,” crossing his feet and leaving himself vulnerable to the footlock. Check it out:
